The Male Upper Passaggio
This 45-minute vocal workout—delivered live, via Zoom—will guide experienced male singers in exercises designed to strengthen and coordinate the upper passaggio. Depending on the singer’s voice category, this pitch area resides somewhere between C4-G4 (middle C to the G above), where many men experience challenges in registration balance, resonance, and/or comfort.
Vocal exercises will address:
How body connection, vowel choice, and facial posture facilitate smooth register transitions
Avoiding common pitfalls for men in this pitch area
The difference between male falsetto and head voice and how to exercise both appropriately
Remember, practice makes permanent. To solidify the coordination of your upper passaggio, we invite you to repeat this workout often. Every Male Upper Passaggio workout is different, while focusing on the same set of fundamental skills.
