Vibrato: A Singer’s Guide
Have you ever wondered:
What causes vocal vibrato?
If my vibrato is too fast, slow, wide, or uneven, what can I do about it?
How can I sing “straight(er) tone” with balance and comfort?
Is a slower, wider vibrato (a “wobble”) inevitable with age?
How can I develop a vibrato if I don’t have one?
Why does my jaw, tongue, neck, or larynx shake with my vibrato?
Vibrato: A Singer’s Guide is a 2-hour seminar and accompanying vocal exercise routine, delivered live, via Zoom, designed to help demystify the topic of vocal vibrancy, and give you the tools you need to work with your vibrato.
You will learn:
The parameters of a healthy, normal vibrato
The physiological causes of vibrato
The connections between breath support, vocal folds, and vibrato
Vocal exercises that can help you explore straight(er) tone singing in a healthy way
How to encourage vibrato if it is absent or inconsistent
